Staying sober requires a person to analyze the reasons why they were using the substance, identify their personal triggers for relapse, and avoid falling into a pattern of use again. This can include toxic relationships in which you feel unheard, misunderstood, unsupported, demeaned, unsafe, and/or attacked. Triggers for using drugs and alcohol typically are people, places, and things that remind you of your addictive behavior or encourage the use of substances you’re avoiding. And, each location is near MBTA transportation, making it easier for guests to get to work or other places they need to be to support their maintained recovery. It’s located on a quiet side street with plenty of parking, it has easy highway access, and it’s just around the corner from the train.
